B Education Month program in Agona East District:
“Education Month in Agona East District is a landmark initiative led by the Member of Parliament, Hon. Obaatanpa Maame Pokuah, in collaboration with the District Chief Executive, Hon. Samuel Oscar Mensah, and the Education Director, Mrs. Phyllis Asante-Krobea.
Scheduled for 11th, 12th, and 13th February 2026, the three-day program is packed with impactful activities aimed at boosting educational infrastructure and opportunities in the district.
Day One will witness the sod cutting for TEN six-classroom blocks in AEDA schools across Akwakwaa, Ama kakraba, Mansofo, Mangoase Mensakrom, Asafo, Ankama, and others, alongside the construction of 5 dormitories at Namanwura (One Boys, One Girls), Nsaba, and Kwanyarko.
Day Two involves the inspection of 15 ongoing projects and the distribution of furniture to schools, ensuring learning environments are conducive and well-equipped.
Day Three focuses on empowering students through the disbursement of yearly funds to 50 brilliant but needy tertiary students (SCHOLARSHIP), and a meeting with school feeding caterers to improve nutrition in schools.
