WARM CONGRATULATIONS TO NOBLE DR RICHARD KOFI ASIEDU ON HIS WELL DESERVED APPOINTMENT AS PRESIDENT – GENERAL OF THE EMINENT WEST AFRICA NOBLES FORUM-HON KWESI DAWOOD


The Eminent West Africa Nobles Forum (E-WANF) has officially appointed the Central Regional Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress, Noble Dr. Richard Kofi Asiedu as its new President-General. His appointment was formally announced on 7th February 2026.
Noble Dr. Asiedu succeeds Nana (Dr.) Appiagyei Dankawoso I, the immediate past President-General, taking over the leadership of the sub-regional think tank dedicated to integrity and ethical leadership.
Noble Dr. Richard Kofi Asiedu is a prominent Ghanaian educationist, businessman, and a politician (Central Regional Chairman of the ruling NDC) and before this appointment, he served as the Vice-President of the Forum and has been an active member since 2016.
Professional Background: He is the CEO of the St. Andrews Group of Schools and Companies, which includes St. Andrews College of Healthcare and the Rich Multimedia Institute.
Public Service: He currently serves as the Board Chairman of the Ghana Integrated Iron and Steel Development Corporation (GIISDC) and former Governing Council Chairman of the Assin Fosu College of Education.
Academic Credentials: He holds a PhD in Human Resource Management and has been recognized for his massive investments in educational infrastructure, particularly in rural and deprived communities.
Vision for the Forum– as the new President-General, Noble Dr. Asiedu is expected to lead the Forum’s mission of “moral regeneration” across West Africa. His leadership comes at a time when the Forum is expanding its influence through:
The West Africa Centre for Nobility and Stewardship: A new initiative launched to train and mentor aspiring leaders in politics and professional sectors.
Regional Integration: Strengthening ties between eminent personalities across the ECOWAS sub-region to promote transparency and accountability.
Youth Empowerment: Using his background in education to align the Forum’s advocacy with job creation and skills development for West African youth.
Leadership Transition
The transition was confirmed in a statement by Dr. Dee Otibu-Asare, the Founder and Executive Director of the Forum, who emphasized that Dr. Asiedu’s wealth of experience in both the private and public sectors makes him uniquely qualified to manage the reputable group.
